POS device configuration

This feature allows an LPF user to register POS devices that can be used to effect savings and loan transactions outside the office and later export to or import from the Loan performer database.

Note that

1. The POS device uses a special software tool to allow file transfer from the computer to the device and vice versa, without this tool there is no work around.

2. You will also need HyperTerminal software to trouble shoot the connectivity between the POS device and the computer.

• POSID: Enter here the ID number of the point of sale e.g. "1". POSID is simply a unique key that identifies the device and cannot be entered more than once.
• Serial number: The field serial number is the number of the device as printed at the lower bottom of the device by the manufacturer e.g. "12012110"
